Hi All.

I'm new to the whole CVO world. Been riding Harleys since 1990 and I just sold my Fat Boy to buy a 09 SERG. Just wondering if anyone else up here in Canada is riding or waiting for their SERG and if so what the price has been and how long the waits have been?

I am in Calgary, all of the 09 SERGs that have been allotted to Calgary, Red deer and I think Lethbridge dealers have all been sold. Calgary (Southern) HD wanted $2000 over MSRP. Did you buy yours from Hobb (Heritage) of Ken Kent and what did you pay? MSRP is CDN $34,999. I was advised c/w GST they are around $36,999? I will be looking at the dealers in the US.

I searched all of Alberta and the story was the same everywhere, all were pre-sold but I could go on a wait list.
I went to H/D of Edmonton last week and was told there was a silver one on the way that was available .   I put down a deposit and now I wait. They have six bikes coming this Monday, Sept 22, and they’re pretty sure mine is in that shipment. Their asking price is $37,450 GST included.

I am in Edmonton Mon. - Wed. for the Heavy Oil Show may drop in to see Ken Kent and see if he has any more Silver ones coming in, will also drop in to Heritage.

I was told they have more on the way and only one other spoken for.  Not sure what colours, I know there is an orange coming in Apr / May that is available.

A friend of mine just put a deposit on a CVO Road Glide at the shop in Sudbury. $34,149 plus frieght, setup and taxes. It won't arrive until April.

Which dealer are you referring to? Heritage or Yellowhead?

It almost seems to good to be true, but H/D of Edmonton says they have "several" 09 SERG available. Of course I didn't get to look through their book, but there was at least a full page of bikes complete  with VIN and only my name and one other on the page.

PST in Ontario is 8%, do not know in regards to Dealer prep and Freight.

Who is a good contact at HD Edmonton if Ken Kent is not there? Are they at $34,999 MSRP, and what is their freight, dealer prep etc?

I don't think you'll see Kent Sr around. Bobbie is running the show now. All the sales guys seem about the same as far as service and knowledge. They never did break the price down for me, with regard to frieght, PDI etc. They just gave me an "out the door" price. Then once the deal was in motion they added the tire tax and doc fee. That's gonna cost me another $200. I guess they all play that game.

I was at Calgary HD yesterday and they have a silver SERG on the floor not sold yet. The disappointing part is that there is a tail light on the fender and the new tail light system is only signal lights and there yellow, how much will that cost to change. My orange SERG is coming in December from Lethbridge.

Oh yea I guess I should add I am new to the site, I have been reading post for about a month to get Info about the new SERG. From all the posts I have read it has helped in my discussion to buy one. I have been riding Harley's since 1974. My ride now is a 1990 Heritge Softtail that I bought new.

Any idea how much they want for the SERG in Calgary? When I called last week they had none, guess a deal feel through.
