rode in to work this morning in that...  I hugged the left side of the lane, and was often blown over to the right line!

Takes a great deal to scare me, I was "concerned" riding in this morning - my KLR was tossed around like a kite.

I have participated in runs where the weather sucked and yes it's hard riding in the rain, especially if you've got a long way to go. BUT, the upside is you cannot put a price on the camaraderie you share when you do a ride in inclement weather together. We had a crappy day on one of our group rides during the Sedona run and rather than be miserable, we were all kindred souls and shared a hundred laughs about it, some good natured dissing of Nelson for planning the route and a lot of good cheer once back at the resort. Weather would not make me miss MV if I was within 400 miles of it. No way no how. Those in attendanc will be if not already, close friends when it's over

Just my $0.02

Rut rohhh.  That one picture of Jeorge and Martha standing inside the outdoor church......looks like it was really cold.  And to think it was 93F here yesterday.  I know it's going to be miserable but I hope everybody stays safe. :2vrolijk_21:

Got to agree with the d00d on this one.  We each need to make our own decision when it comes to riding, and espcially in inclement weather.  One man's quest for comraderie is another man's wise decision to avoid something undesirable.  We all have different levels of pain and pleasure.  I would want to avoid this weather pain and live to have pleasure another day....

For those that choose to go, please be careful.  For those of us heading to AR for bikes, blues, and BBQ - wish us luck to find high octane gas!!
