Don looks so much better on Cybil than on any FD bike I've ever seen him on. Any of youze would too of course!!!
In these pics we're trying to determine where a noise that Cybil developed, is coming from. That day we seem to narrow it down to one or more of the following: Lifter failing, roller rocker failing, comp nut, bad motor mount. She got me there and back with that noise, and even withstood the HBRR qualifying test of of a minimum of over 100 for 10 miles straight! But when I hit the city it got louder, steadier, and started backfiring a little. This is leading me to think it's a lifter right now. She's going to Vern's this week to find out once and for all. I hope she won't be down for Neal's fall ride on Columbus Day Weekend. If it's lifters, it shouldn't be. If it's the comp nut, I'm getting the new SEcomp sprocket package and might not have it in time. If it's rockers, I can throw my SE rockers in. Same with the lifters, or get new S&S lifters. I bought a new motor mount in Ashville. That'll go on too right now. Trying that first but anyway, but I'm not expecting that to be it. Then pulling the primary, rocker boxes and lifters to check these things as well. I'll let ya'll know what it was when we determine it.
