the guys did not know what all the fuss was about....until the SAMPLES started to come out and we realized it was FOOD!  Tim dove in head first and ordered up a couple hundred dollars worth of Christmas Presents....yeah, right, there was no pretense that our 12 jars were selfishly for US!  Tim, had about 22 at this point.

If I die trying, I'm gonna get my fellow B a new Merc shirt

B B

I almost ripped that thing hanging before we left but I thought no I better not, he wouldn't be pleased! I have one too, but I won't let him wear it (plus it's too small for him).  He was the talk of the town with the shirt that is for sure.

I think we should start a pool on how much less Maggie Valley cost Bill and Anne than Sedona did. It's obvious in that the pics you see of them at MV that it was a much better event for them. They're eating, drinking, laughing, having a great time. The Sedona picks were frowns the first two days and smiles the last two and you can see Bill standing at least two inches taller from the light wallet in the pics at Red Rock behind his Annie :D

BB, funny you say that because I did notice that I really smiled a lot at this event based on the pics...

but that trailer left my wallet almost as empty as Sedona...somewhere between 7K and 8K lighter.

Of course you smiled a lot.  It was a blast.  There was no bad/sad times for anyone, anytime.

You make me remember my annual trips to Daytona when I lived in Maine. Every year there was some major expense. Anyway, just glad MV was a good time for you both. Are you going to Mt Hood/Columbia River Gorge next July ? If so, consider visiting Anne's folks on Coronado and riding up PCH with us from here. I will only be riding maybe 300 miles a day, so it's going to be a lazy 3 or 4 days up the coast all the way to Oregon.
