Hello, Chanman here. I have posted a few times so I thought i should drop in and let someone know something about me. I have jsut purchased an 09 Screaming Eagle Ultra, Orange and Autumnwood.. I love it. I had an 06 Screaming eagle Ultra Autumnwood and black wit the res stripe, Loved it. Sold the 06 to a buddy for 22K with 38,000 miles on it and purchased the new one. $38,500 out the door here in Southern California.
My 1st bike here in Ca was an 04 Road King, which I still have and my wife rides. We had jacked up the engine with SE high Compression heads,211 cams with a race tuner and Vance and Hines basic slip ons. I had put a cruise control unit on it and I am glad I did Julie likes that. We put a 6 speed in it and a hydraulic clutch and lowered the bike to make it better for her 5'3" frame. She has ridden it about 20K since she took it over last year. We love to go on long distance rides staying out two weeks or so at a time. We are planning next years trip to the Smoky Mountains in May. I am ready to go now. We are riding to Laughlin Nevada in November with our Harley chapter to spend the weekend at the casinos and riding the desert.
There are a few pictures of the new bike in the screaming eale ultra folder. We ran it up the California coast last week and it performed great. We rode from Solvang to Monterey and back down highway 1 which runs up the California coast it is a very scenic ride. This bike goes from 50 to 100 real quick with plenty left in the throttle
It is great to have a place where everyone exchanges ideas good and bad. I look forward to speaking to you all and possibly all riding together someday
