Leather dash pad between windshield and gauges on inner faring?
« on: September 25, 2008, 01:11:59 PM »

I was on the flood run last weekend here in Mn/Wisconsin and saw a NANA that had a dash pad between the windshield and the gauge cluster on the inner faring. Where can I get one? I Likey allot!!  :huepfenjump3: It was leather or smeather.

Fairing Dash Pad

Genuine H-D  P/N # 58262-05

$159.95 Fits 97 and later Electra-Glide Models

Nice looking piece in my opinion, really finishes off the inner fairing. Requires separating the fairing and drilling some holes. About a 3 on a scale of 1-10 in terms of mechanical ability.

No, not the SEEGs.  That is an SEUC item.

Yoda, you must be mistaking this forum for one of those run of the mill Harley sites.....we don't bash newbies here.  And, to take that a step further....we try to help.

And in that process, let me say that they only made SEEGs (Screamin Eagle Electra Glides) for two year, 04 and 05.  After that, the bagger CVO went to the SEUC (Screamin Eagle Ultra Classic) model.

I do however make fun of Miker...continually.  But he also makes fun of me, so it's all fair.

About the dash pad, not a clue.

Good luck!

Took mine off when I got the bike - got in the way of the radar detector mount - put two of the chrome bar & shield tag holders there looks good - I did not want the cut the pad for the radar detector mount - I have seen it done - just did not like the look.
