Sorry to hear the other guys ran out of the bits.  I bet they had a huge run on them.  The 1.5" looks like it will work.  Glad you found another option.  I'll look around and see if I can find another source.

I would love to have one of those bits be willing to pay your price just so don't have the hassel of digging around.  They don't get too dull with one drilling though do they?

Congrats on the bike!

Sure you can remove the cat without a race tune.  I ran mine quite a bit without one.  The O2 sensor will take care of the changes below 4000 RPM.  Just try to keep it below 4K RPM.  Above that the system goes into open loop mode and it may be too lean with a significant exhaust change.

Also, upon actually reading the description, it says they are WET cutting bits. Does this matter?

Yea I saw that too, based on what Jim wrote I am planning on drilling with frequent stops.  I may use some "thread cutting oil" to lube the bit.  I really dont have an answer yet.  When the bit finally gets here I will let you know how it goes.  They are talking about useing water to cool it when cutting into cement...I think.  It only needs to work once and I will be happy.
