I recently purchased a 2009 serg , also my dealer says cannot put the racetuner on it ? i was floored !  i was thinking of all the mods i wanted to do in the future and how was going to tune it ? So if you mind me asking , what was the exact part number of the race tuner, cable , software or updates did you have to use on your 2009 serg ?

A couple of recommendations....

If you want to have your bike tuned on a dyno - I would suggest this:

http://www.mastertune.net/

If you want more of a "plug and play" do it yourself tuner,  I would suggest this:

http://www.revperf.com/Precision/index.html

I would recommend either of these products over the MOCO version of tuner...

See the attachment, this is taken straight out of the 2011 SE Pro catalog.  And if you were talking to the service guys at that dealership, not a salesman or other uniformed bozo, you need to steer clear of that place if you need any work done.  Very sad that there are so many "uninformed" folks in Harley dealerships these days.

See the attachment above your post (click on it to expand it to full size).  That is the correct part number.

X2   Just istalled and dyno yesterday.  Fullsac 1.75 cores, catless header-removed by cutting removing entirely and re-weld tuner and dyno     numbers are 93.1 hp @5400 rpm and 109.9 ft/lb @ 3657 rpm  not bad for very little mods.  Runs great and sounds awsome.

Ok, so I'm going through this same headache of trying to order the correct part number race tuner for my 2009 Springer CVO and the parts department is recommending #32109-08C.

Does this seem correct?  Is the "C" just the latest version after "B"?  Anyone else have this model?

seems to be right - don't pay more than $359,95 (Cycle Parts for less). Software version should be 4.004.0002.

I bought my "B" version with my new 2011 RGC and intake, exhaust, and 255's were all part of the package sold to me. I too have all of the stuff, including the training Video... But in the end, I was so happy with the bike when I got it back that I never even plugged the bike and the tuner to each other.
Then I had a bunch of points,($) to use so I got it dyno tuned a few weeks ago and I got a nearly 7H.P.and 8 Tq. And it was running well before hand, still as mild mannered as ever until u really twist the right grip and then all HE(( breaks loose!! I will eventually use this stuff to play with things  but for my money this tuner used by the right person seems to do really good work at making my bike deal with the many small and and a couple more serious problems, like over heating in hot weather as well as the heat that cooks my right leg!!!
But no real other experience other than SERT I had on an 03, and a PCIII as well.
