eGlide doesn't have a retail showroom, so I couldn't look at their goodies. Has anyone considered this solution. They come in black and chrome and look like they might work ok.  Doc

I had the Hoppe vents in the lower of my 03 Road Glide, never had a problem of contact with the front fender when open. when I would mount the lower in the colder months I would install the lowers with the vents open and check clearances, never an issue.

The ebay listing says ok for Road Glides.  The manufacturer's website, however, conspicuously doesn't list Road Glides when they mention fitment though.

Didn't catch that, but they have goog feedback. Cutting in that spot would make  me nervous  :nervous:  Doc
