Exact same parts are involved, 110 kit or CVO engine, and the problems had nothing to do with assembly of the engine. Does that give you an idea of where I'm going with this?
If you get a kit that has all the latest updated parts, you will still be in the same boat as all those folks who just had their CVO's "enhanced"; waiting to see if this program really solved the problems. After watching the MoCo jerk these folks around for the past two years, I would sooner trade for a moped than give Milwaukee another handful of cash to buy into the 110 saga. Do yourself a favor and find a good engine builder to put something together with good aftermarket parts.

jerry, that is what i thought but wanted to confirm. Had considered trading in for 2009 SERG but for obvious reasons i really did not want the 110 engine. so I thought I would make my own "tricked out" bike and do the 103. But it is America and bigger is better , so before I dropped the coin I thought I would check.
Unfortunately, I thought I did have a good engine builder but still had an engine failure at 2000 miles! So I was trying to do the harley engine upgrade at time of purchase (even though end result won't be the same performance of aftermarket, it also won't cost 5k for upgrade and 6k to replace the engine!)
