I have had mine for a month now.... and it just rolled 3000 miles (smiles).

Noise is still there, but a little quieter in 5th gear.
The bars are a bit too forward for me when on the highway pegs.
EPA issues are addressed...... Dyno Tuned, New Pipes, no more cat.   :orange:  These babies will run. Pulls to 100 MPH like a dream.

Next week will lower front and back, install detachable tourpack, and new seat.  With my 5'9" 32" inseam, I too dont stand flat footed unless my female backrest is in place.

All said and done....  I still got the perma-grin!

Nothing much new to add except my radio only reads mp3 cds when it feels like it.
My main sore points are my butt (will have to drop the rear air down to 10lbs) and not being able to firmly plant my feet on the ground.  I wouldn't dare take my hands off the controls at a red light with a passenger onboard.  I could see a passenger fending off a bee and all three of us laying on the road.

Thanks to the EPA overheating will occur after several minutes of traffic in 80ish degree weather. (waiting on an '09 power commander to fix that)

The best thing is no leakie  ;D

update:
have mine in the shop for a few add-ons that i purchased with the bike and it seems that even though the catalog says things fit they actually don't.  they've had my bike for 2 days now to do 2 hours worth of work and it is currently sitting on the rack in pieces while they fight with the MoCo about the catalog being inaccurate.  i'm gonna be really pissed if they scratch something after not being able to do any of the stuff i wanted.  this will be my last trip to the dealer unless it's a warranty issue and even then I may just eat the cost depending on what it is.  this is ridiculous, if the stuff doesn't fit, put it back they way it was and give the darn thing back to me.

YET!!! ::)

Hey Tex,
I put Belray in my tranny at my 1k and it has made a huge difference in the noise.

Glad you loving it!  What kind of pipes did you go with and how did you remove the cat?

I agree with all the GOODS and most of the BADS but the GOODs way outweigh the bads.  This is my 13th HD and by far the best.  I brought the bike down to Fla (NW) with me and the weather is great for riding.  The heat is not an issue for me.  I emailed my dealer in Ga to ask about the kickstand upgrade....that would eliminate my biggest complaint.  Bub 7's waiting at home to install.

Belray..... thanks for the insight.  :2vrolijk_21:

D&D Super Boss Muffs w/  1 7/8" x 20" baffles. Split the collector and welded it back up. I would call it moderately quiet. Much quieter than the FXDSE with D&D FatCat and 2 1/2" baffles.

It will be interesting to see what headers that the aftermarket come up with. As far as D&D goes for now it is either slip on's or the FatCat will fit. In visiting with one of their engineers, he stated that there would a faux pipe with FatCat option, and was not sure as to when they would jig up for duals.

 Hey Guppy,
Yes we did ride the 09. Both the SERG & SEUC. I though the SERG was a little cooler,
because it doesn't have lowers, but the SEUC WAS much hotter then my 06 SEUC.
I had the lowers open, and the fairing deflectors open too. Still more heat then mine.
Maybe the reason is that I have D&D, and the EFI SE race tuner. To compare, we got
off the 09, got on mine, and did the same route to compare.
The tranny also made noise in both 1st & 5th, but that might be covered up with a different
set of pipes.
Again I say, darn, sure love that Silver/Blue!

I love my silver/blue.  I am planning a sert and to remove the cat.  I will get back to you on the results.
It does whine in fifth and first, I just did my 1000 mile and used redline shockproof heavy, still whines in fifth.  Can't hear first at all now.  Fifth is better but still sounds like a straight cut gear.  Way better than my 08 ultra on temp in the saddle.

With almost 600 miles on the SEUC I'm liking it even more!

A little to tall for me but that is easily fixed.

It's a little strange, with 13" shocks on the SERG and 13" shocks on the Classic and being flatfooted on them, the SEUC has me on my toes

Have struggled to find premium gas but at least the temps here have been cool.

The bike seems to have a sweet cruising spot at around 80 to 85 MPH.

And that's a good thing!

Taking it to Copperhead this weekend and will see how it rolls on the curves.

Overall I'm very pleased with the bike!

I had the same problem took my bike back to the dealership and they did an upgrade on the radio - not sure why it was not upgraded since it was new but the upgrade has solved the problem so far.

There is now a kickstand upgrade, not a recall or noted defect but a upgrade. I was told the first 6 to 800 SEUC's had the old style kickstand and the new ones after that will have the upgrade. So if yours leans to far, let your dealer know and they will order the upgrade for you!

i heard that hd had been called by many of us, and was wondering "how the heck did they hear about this so fast"

i heard hd had a meeting that morning about it and received calls in the afternoon regarding the "upgrade"

The 13" Arnott Chrome Aldan air adjustable shocks are on the 09 SEUC.

BOY! Talking about fitting 6 gallons in a 5 gallon bucket.

Talked with Jim and set the adjustments on 5 (of 0 to 11) till I can see how that feels.

Sure is better at parking lot speeds!

I want to thank Jim (hd-dude) for getting them for me.

I always call Jim first when there's something I need. Best service between here and the west coast and damn good pricing!

Call him and see for yourself!

Just a little under 300 miles since I switched the tranny and primary over to redline.
It is a toss up as to the single greatest upgrade so far.
Redline shockproof heavy in the tranny or removal of the cc.
Both are at the top of the my "items to do list" for 09 CVO owners.
Whine in fifth is nearly gone, I can still hear it but it is so slight now I have more than once had to accelerate and listen to make sure I was in fifth.
The cat gone...may be all in my head...but it sure seems to run better and cooler.  I can now hear the exhaust in the mufflers, before it seemed as if the only noise was from the motor and suction at the throttle body.
Just my 2cents
