Silly boy.  The R rated wonderland was only in the backseat of your car.

Hey!!  It wasn't just an addled recollection of Shannon in the back of the old El Camino.  There really was a movie.  This wasn't easy to find either.  Damn I'm good :huepfenlol2: .

YES!!  In fact there were four drives within 15 miles when I was sixteen.  One has reopened about five years ago and is going strong again.  I love the drive in.

Discovered last summer that the Bushtec can haul lawn chairs and radio and everything else needed for a perfect night at the drive in to.  So now it's a ride-in when I feel the mood :2vrolijk_21: .

That is way too cool.  I think this is something that would make a great come back.  Sittin with your friend, in a comfy lawn chair, sipping margahooties, stars overhead.  Sounds wonderful. And yet another use for the Bushtec.

Yes.  The cooler is a great utility for drive-in nights.

Have a trivial question for those who might remember...

Ever seen a somewhat underground movie called "The Boob Tube" ?  There is this one little character in the movie that is a hoot.  But maybe it was just my state of mind at the time, as it's been 35 years...

The camera starts at a discreet distance from the "character's " face and at first you can't seem to understand why his nose bobs up and down as he speaks  - - - - - and I won't spoil it for those of you who haven't seen the movie. Rent it - - - - - - - if you can find it.

Is this what you're referring to Terry ?
