Strange that the p/n (50359-04) is an '04 part number.  Were they holdin' out on us?

This is the only new part that I want but after seeing the lack of a spun oil temp gauge and the lack of effort in building a new SEEGUC worth a crap, I am keeping the airfoils for now.  This is dissappointing --- period.  JP  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I guess when all you have is crap in the pipeline keeping it a secret is not a real big problem.

Worse yet, maybe it took them a while to regain the contract with the chitty chromer! [smiley=6.gif]
Yo MoCo, spare no expense! We'll buy it anyway - not - airfoils look fine on mine!  [smiley=beerchug.gif]

How does your dislike of the Ultra CVO and lack of a spun oil temp gauge weigh in your decision to buy footpegs or not???

You look for logic in the Harley corner of my mind?  Ok, actually, I really like the airfoil pegs anyways and was just bitching about the MOCO a little.  On the big day, I went to my local dealer to have them fix the stereo volume button on the left control which broke off after I let them put the chrome bits on.  They did sort of fix it but when I left I realized they had broken off the tuning button on the right control.  They did sort of fix it so that it changes the tunes up if you push up as well as changes the tunes up if you push down.  The told me the bad news and ordered new parts for both sides.  I guess the mystique wore off for a little while that day but I was able to restore my mindless believer attitude fairly quickly.  I attribute this mainly to the realization that I spent a good part of the time watching bikini clad honeys wash bikes and got a free hot dog while I waited.  Not the worst day of my life.   I thought we were allowed to bitch a little here but if this or anything else I post offends anyone, Soooooorrry. Be safe JP [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

JP.....No need to worry about bitchin' once in a while.  When you end up with a scooter and accessories that rival the cost of a new Corvette, it darn sure better be right.

About time they came out with these. A set will be on my highway bars very soon.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Well, I said long ago (back when we were all first putting the airfoil highway pegs on) that my contact at HD said that these would be coming, he just couldn't tell me when.  For the price, they will be changed out on my bike......just to keep the theme flowing.
