Mobil 1 V Twin and the K&N Filter, don't mess with anything else. Both locally available at Autozone. Reasonable price and you can get it any time.

Any Major Brand that meets HD specifications, It should be changed once in a while and checked once in a while, Ive been riding over 50 years and hundreds of thousands of miles and have never had an engine failure that could be traced to the motor oil.

I agree with you on this.  100% synthetic is a better oil.  Syn3 does not perform as well as the others.  It foams and will boil when hot.  Not good when you're running it in the big 110 heater.

FWIW, I would not recommend running anything but synthetic oil in these engines after break-in.  The 110 gets very hot, operates under a ton of internal pressure and is damn expensive if you have to replace internal parts.  Pick a brand you like and stick with it.  It is not a good idea to mix and match oils either.
