2009 SEUC Rear Shocks
« on: October 06, 2008, 04:35:44 PM »

Pumped up rear shocks about 2 weeks ago to 14lbs.  Noticed that bike has been riding pretty hard lately, so I checked the air pressure and the pressure would not even read.  So I guess all the air has leaked out.  Any Ideas other than carrying back to dealer for repair.  Anyone else experienced this problem ?

Most likely one of the plastic tubes not fully inserted.  That is an easy check....   :nixweiss:

I had the same problem with my 2003 Road King...just took off the saddle bags and loosened up the brass fittings and inserted the plastic tubes in all the way and re tightened the fittings.  Works to this day.

2009 & 2008 SEUC owners...be careful when you remove your saddle bags...the wires for the auto bag lock feature pull out of the connectors very easily...not much slack in the wire to disconnect them...mine are currently both pulled out of the connector.  Need to get the tool to reinsert them.
