Lukenbach, Tx great place to have a beer and visit with other bikers....

Albert, Tx population 2... The only thing in this town is a house and this bar across the street.  When the bar runs out of beer they walk across the street to the house and the garage is a walk in cooler for the beer.  If the couple that runs the bar moves out of the house the population goes to zero.

There are some cool roads to ride in that area.  Did the ROT a couple of years ago and look forward to getting back in the area again sometime.  Lukenbach is a pretty wild little place.  Easy to see how Willie (Nelson, not G.) got his inspiration after a couple of good long draws.

My wife and I were actually married in Lukenbach a year and a half ago.  If you go to www.picturetrail.com/rwnixon and look at the wedding album you can see the ceremony.  The bartender officiated.  We make it down to Hill Country as often as possible from Fort Worth.  Love it down there, just don't know how I would make a living.

Lost Alamo Village near Bracketteville, Tx... John Wayne built this place for the movie The Alamo he spent 1 million dolars in 1959 building this place and went backrupt before it was completed.

That is cool there was a wedding the day we where there... We left there and went up the Devil's backbone and across to Gruene, Tx.  Many bars in between ending at Bubba's Big Deck in Gruene and that was a good time.  The river in your wedding pix was dry when we where there.
