Can the Ecm be flashed if it is not on the bike?? The reason I ask is we have a 95" Road Glide with the HTCC engine package in it. The previous owner had a "Race Only " flash installed. The motor was built with flat top pistons and had very littke compression. We installed the HTCC pistons that matched the heads and now the engine pings with the slightest amount of throttle. We installed a PC III USB and have retarded the timing as far as it will go and still have some pinging. The mixture is good and the bike still pings. We beleive that the "race Module has too much timing for the bike on the street and want to get it reflashed. Can it be done off of the bike.
