Good roads in Southern VA, WVA, Kentucky?

Taking a long weekender from North GA thru western NC on up to VA and WVA, maybe KY. Any recommendations for roads or interesting stops? ;)

hopefully Hubbard will see this one and put you on some good roads. I have had to spend a lot of time not far from his neck of the woods and I am always wishing I had my bike. VA and WVA have some beautiful landscapes if you know where to look.
