Hi guys thought I would into myself as I hope to be a member of the exclusive forum for years to come.
I just bought my first Harley. I have been eyeing the springer all year and just did not have the cash to get it new so I drove myself nuts trying to figure what Harley to get, came down to road king classic or fat bob. When I found my dream bike in an ad but with no price tag on it (make an offer) I called just out of curiosity thinking the selling price would be much closer to sticker price because it had only 4000km on it and 5k in upgrades. Agreed on a price and I drove 5hr to get it the next day! I am in Ontario, Canada and it is pretty cold here now. I picked the bike up around 6ish and drove home at the starting temp of 12C then an hour later in 8C, second hour 5C and the rest of the ride 3C. Got home for 11ish and couldn’t feel anything. It was the sound of the beautiful engine and VH exhaust that kept me going lol
So that's how I came to own my first Harley, it has upgrade handle bars, grips, pegs, side plate, VH exhaust and all original parts too.
I like the new bars so I am selling the stock one
I love the CVO pegs so I am selling the aftermarket ones (made in USA)
I am buying heated grips (damn Canada), selling the aftermarket ones (made in USA)
I let him keep the stock exhaust, I figured I would never use them and I have two other sets of stock exhaust I can’t sell sitting in my garage taking up space so lol
I haven’t had time to take pictures but I will soon and post them
Riding experience:
3years legally and I am 21 and this is the 4th bike combined with dads (same riding experience and switch bikes here n there). Kind of a shared bike until I pay most of it off so my dad can buy his Road King CVO or classic which was put on hold because of this deal. Other bike in the garage and don’t hate me for it please is a 2007 Ducati monster 695 (mine) and 2008 BMW K1200R (dads). First bike ever and no longer with us was a 2006 Suzuki M109R.
So that's me and if you guys have any pointer as to the Harley I would love it hear them. Or stories about Daytona bike week and other can’t miss events, hoping to get out to them this year!
Cheers
