It appears to be a puddin pie, with a rather dry looking crust I must say.
You don't have those troubles with the donut..It is fried for chrise sake!

Says you!  Thats why they make coffee, for which to imerse said "stale" donut into....Your blatant disregard for one of the royal foods may get you blended scotch on your visit..Haarumpf!

Harumph!  Again for extra emphasis I double your harumph with: haarumph, haarumph!!  Donuts are ok, I like donuts.  Now they will never be like pie - unless there is a donut pie & then that would be different. 

Anyway, I don't drink Scotch due to having a set of taste buds that actually work so any Scotch poured in my general direction is wasted.  I be a bourbon drinker when the mood hits which ain't too often since the bourbon hits when I drink it way too often.



Disclosure: I purchased 4 dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme just last Saturday & personally ate 3 or more of them in their warm gooey state of freshness.  However, dunking a donut is likely against my religion due to a disdain for soggy donuts & yeasty floury coffee.  Haruuumph!

A most excellent plan!  We shall not speak of matters of multi course meal breakfast discourse & instead shall savor the finer things of life such as you so wisely mention.  A good drunken stupor is not to be taken for granted & in fact cannot recall a single good drunken stupor that involved tater tots in any shape or form.

Not all are fried, cake donuts are baked however, all REAL donuts ARE fried. All others are
fake! Nothing worse than fake donuts. Krispy-Kreme forever but pie is better.

When I was working in Manhattan for a while, before 911, we use to walk thru the WTC and get Crispy Cremes on the way to work, then at about 9:30-10:00 we go get a chili dog on the corner, talking about coming back at you!
