That's the reason anyone investing several million dollars in a dealership won't allow a "union shop". They'd just as soon manage their own investment rather than accepting any input from a "partner" without a nickel at risk.
Well one of us has no idea how a union works, I've worked in a union for over thirty years and never once did we decide how the company was run. We could offer suggestions but other than making sure all employees were treated fairly and there were no dumb ass rules like what we could and could not drive to work that was the extent of what our input was. However the company did state that if we did not believe in our prouduct enough to buy it WHY should we expect anyone else to. A very good point. I personally would rather have someone work on my bike who's making a decent wage and likes their job other than someone who says if you don't like my work I'll go back to McDonalds.
