That trim sure fits a lot better than mine did with the C V 11/12" shield, is that that $5.00 extra piece that was mentioned earlier on,  to make it fit the C V so well. Like the looks alot.  Thankls Doc

i'm the proud owner of a gt small, gt medium, gt large and a stock angle 2.25" shorter than stock w/recurve. clearview products.

the gt small is perfect for the serg with stock seat. the medium works with the 08 fltr and sunray seat.

the custom will get tried out shortly.

Dede

Looks like there's a rash of Road Glides looking for windshields today!

I recently switched to a clearview windshield with the reflex top edge and am very pleased.  FYI if you go to their website http://clearviewshields.com/shop/product.php?id=9  and scroll down to the blue button "Current Inventory" you can view what they have in stock. I recommend considering a "Blem" as you can save about 1/3 the price.  I bought a blem and could not find anything wrong with its appearance when it arrived.  I figured the first time I end up behind a truck I'm gonna get hit by a stone anyway so even a perfect shield won't stay that way for long...

Cheers!

Here's my take on this. Everybody's right. Here's why. For most riding, the 12" KW will do you fine and just looks soooooooooo cool. If you've seen one of these on a Road Glide it is as significant a styling addition as saddlebag spoilers, a nice seat, you name it. They make the RG look finished in a way no other windshield does. However as mentioned, they do create turbulence issues that for me personally have not proven to be an issue on short rides (under 200 miles) but I would agree would be annoying riding all day long. Therefore, if you're going on a long trip, then there's no doubt the Clearview (size dependant on your personal HumEng factors) can't be beat. As with anything else, there is no one size fits all. If you're not running the H-D Chrome trim (which I decided after awhile I don't care for) then you can swap out a winshield in 10 minutes. And H-D sells a nice cotton lined canvas bag to store the one you're not using in. Hang it from a hook out of the way in your garage and your shield will always be scratch free.

as others have said, what works for one might get it with others.

what i did was mounted a standard stock and rode while deciding what height. called and ordered, + recurve.
just the thicker material they use makes a difference.

and after getting alittle seat time today, i do like it. :2vrolijk_21:

good luck

So now you have me totally confused the first picture is gt (grey tint??) msd =????. It looks like that one has less recurve, it that correct? The stock angle set the wndshield more upright than the Clearview standard angle?
