How About A Separate CVOHarley Politics Board?

With all the BS politics taking up space on the site these days, how about a separate Board just for that stuff? This way we can just go to the Board and click "Mark Read" and wipe em all out of our Unread Posts Since Last Visit, without going thru a million of em!!! FTP!!! ;) :2vrolijk_21:

Ultimately, everything is politics.  Are you talking about just national politics, or workplace politics, or maybe neighborhood politics, possibly bedroom politics, or your favorite and mine, Harley politics?  My personal opinion is that all politicians should be gathered up and placed in a huge detainment camp where they can irritate the hell out of each other without bothering the rest of us.

Just my .02 but I would love to see the board more segmented so that politics and other stuff would be in a social section (maybe even without a post count in that area). Then put the technical questions/ modifications etc. in the main area with limited thread jacking. This would make it easier for everyone to find info on our bikes.
An example of missed opportunities happend recently when a CVO member was comming to my area for several days and I wasn't aware of his location since mention of it was in the Maggie Valley thread and since I was not attending I didn't read that thread daily. It would have been nice to have a "I'll be in your area" post in the In Town section  vs. buried in another thread so locals can meet up with travelers. Staying on topic with less thread jacking would help us all and the site could still be fun too. (In my opinion of course)

How about separating CVO and national politics with a  Dear Willie and Dear OWG Thread (1mo). After we find out how similar they read, then we can combine them to Dear OWG's and just get to point B quicker  :wall:  Both of these guys could change our lives drastically this next four years. Doc
