I have decided I like chocolate pie the best.  Banana is the best pudding.

If we must talk pie, can we at least give a nod to the king of all pies ?

Boston Cream !

Boston Cream pie is excellent!

Is that pronounced Bawston, Barston, Bahstuhn (southern), Bosstun, or just plain old Beantown?

Bawston would sound closest to the way I say it  ;)

Love the different accents around the country.  Bahstuhn is the southestern US version as best I can tell. Bosstun is how I say it.

Have ignored the stock market so far today, since the futures looked good at about 5 am this morning.

Newton is a Nabisco brand name.

Fig bars is the generic. WT Grant's Five and Dime used to sell em by the pound out of 50lb boxes. They put the Nabisco "Newtons" to shame. I still buy cheap generic fig bars over the Nabiscos any time I've got a craving for figs

It is well known with those in the know that the prince of Donuts is the Boston creme..Even Krispy Kreme makes one..
It is however like a little donut pill, not nearly the propah sized dunkydonut size

FYI  The "Dunkin Donut " was what the baking industry refers to as a "cake" donut

No more explanation for my fondness for them is required
