I believe it was Nikita Khrushchev the Russian president years ago who stated that the "United States will fall without a shot being fired". How true he may have been. It is disgusting to think of all the sacrifices that the average American people made, with paying our taxes, and the lives lost to preserve our freedom, to support our capitalists system. It seems that the greatest enemy turned out to be are own elected officials. I feel that America has seen it's better days... JMO. If we some how can see ourselves out of this catastrophe, and believe me this problem and its outcome is beyond our imagination, WE THE PEOPLE need to organize and demand a special investigation, not the run of the mill grandstanding investigation that they put on. A bonafied investigation that will shake out and expose all of the corrupt Congressmen, Senators and all the slime in the investment and banking system that created this fraud. Hunt down all of the people that benefited from this and prosecute to the fullest.
I agree in full, but people can't just complain to eachother, then need to write their reps and keep an eye on their voting and bills they sponsor, or back, and if they don't take care of their constituents, vote them our!
