I received a note from Kuryakyn Tech Support regarding the Adjustable/Retractable Passenger Pegs for the
2009 model CVO Ultra saying the 07 and 08 hardware will work.  Has anyone installed them on an 09 yet?

Ultrafun, no but I intend to as my wife liked them on my 06.  I believe your info is correct as I know the 08 footboard mount is the same design as the 09 (can't comment on the 07).  The 06 version definitely does not work.
I would give it a try as Kuryakyn will gladly take them back if necessary.  You can get them at a 20% discount at several of the CVO friendly HD dealers around.  My favorite is Jenni at Tri County HD in the Cinci area.

I am another Newbie, too. 

I just ordered Kuryakyn Adjustable/Retractable Passenger Pegs Part #KY-4505 from RealHog.com.  It is the correct part for the 09 SE Ultra. They fit and look perfect on my 09 FLHTCUSE4.  My wife loves them.  The only thing I had to do was to move my chrome floorboard support up to the highest hole on the frame so I could get the bolts on the Kuryakyn part because it was too close to the top of the exhaust pipe on the right side.

Here is  the story on the passenger pegs Kurakyn part # 4571 with board mount # 4536 will work on the 09flhtcuse4  keep the wife happy

Getting into this thread late, but...

Did this KY-4505 part fit on the '09 CVO ultra without changing out the stock adjustable pass. floorboard mounts?  I found this note on the realhog site:  "'07-'08 Screamin' Eagle Ultra Classics must remove the stock adjustable passenger board mounts and replace them with fixed mounts."

Had these on my '07 Ultra and my wife loved them so I want them on the '09 CVO Ultra, but not sure if we want to give up the adj. floorboards to do it as I don't have the bike yet.

I know the '09 mounts are more rounded, whereas the '07 were more square.

They fit like a glove over the rounded supports with no replacing anything!  As I stated, I did have to move the existing original chrome floorboard supports up to the top hole on the frame to make room above the exhaust pipe.  FYI - I do have Vance & Hines Monster Ovals, so you may not have to adjust with original SE pipes.

Thanks for the info...just what I wanted to hear! 

Do you think you could have taken the mount off, clamped the new pegs to it, then put the mount back on?  Or would there still not have been clearance?  I understand how they mount, with them clamping around the footboard mount arm, with a bracket and bolts on the bottom.

My wife is 5'5", so having them up higher might be good anyway, and you may be right about the fitment w/ different pipes too.

I have no idea if I had taken the support off first if it would have worked.  I do remember it being too tight to get a wrench into.

I've had them on my 99, 05 ultras and my 06 SE ultra and just put them on my 09 se yesterday. My wife loves them!!
