Mikeytee

I'll let you know then next time I ride down that way.....  I used to live down there

I've been spending some time trying to find the right pipes, lots of choices.....
My last bike I had V&H SS on it without baffels, took awhile to program but it sounded great. lost a little performance at the low end, but it was worth it.

Does anyone know anthing about Supertrapp Phantom Pipe
http://www.supertrapp.com/product_sections/detail.asp?CatID=5&ItemID=138-71570

I'm not quite sure if it will look right on the springer, but 2 into 1 should increase performance and it is a nice looking pipe.

Like the pipes, Vance and Hines has a similar two in to one big radius curve.

Congrats on the new ride... I too just picked up new SERG 09.... man what a machine... only thing missing for me is the sound and a windsheild. Thinking about Klockwerks flair windsheild and Fullsac Cores for the pipes.  (recommended here I believe) Windsheild - I just want the wind of my eyes... shoulders are ok... any other recommendations.  I think the styling of the CVO mufflers look great.. but sound is week but don't want lots of noise on long trips.. any thoughts on either of those.

Jazzed in Austin...
Thanks

Thanks for the advice everyone.

I got one of the LED dipsticks so I could monitor my oil level equally with my gas, my understanding is that it is about one tank of oil per 2 tanks of gas.
(hmmm maybe sould have bought a two cycle)..... Hope I don't have any problems.

I will post some pics on sunday.

thanks again from South Carolina

that's funny! :D

My '07 doesn't use a drop of oil.... (with the exception of the headgasket leak...)

Thanks to all you guys for a warm welcome to the board.

I my springer yesterday and I have to say I more impressed now that actually own it then looking at it a the dealership.
I had them put a couple extras:
                                             Chrome Inner primay
                                             Cylinder base cover
                                             Lifter block covers
                                             Oil Cooler
                                             Chrome switch covers.

I wanted to spend the time riding the first day and not putting chrome on (even though I really enjoy adding things to my bikes).
The chrome inner primary with the cylinder base cover looks great and I would recomment it. I cover most of the powder coat on the left side.

I have to show you my plate.
They sent me a letter though, I have to turn it in after 4 years. Some people just don't have a sense of humor
