Any Advice for a New CVO owner
« on: October 17, 2008, 03:18:42 PM »

I'm going to pick up my 09 FXSTSSE3 tommorow at noon, had a few things put on that I didn't to mess with.

I've owned a Harley for 20 years, but this is my first CVO. Any advice from current owners?

Thanks,

I did, I got the 2+5 (7 total), I got the wheels and tire it was cheap.

I'm aware of the problems with the 110". This forum actually stopped me from buying one in 2007.

I actually glad now, because I like the 09 models and I think the 240 rear tire is an improvement in over all looks.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

I got one of the LED dipsticks so I could monitor my oil level equally with my gas, my understanding is that it is about one tank of oil per 2 tanks of gas.
(hmmm maybe sould have bought a two cycle)..... Hope I don't have any problems.

I will post some pics on sunday.

thanks again from South Carolina

jms

Enjoy your new ride, don't let these guys and gals scare you, it's only money. Welcome to the most informative site on the internet, we have people who know everything about anything ( just ask, sometimes you don't even have to ask ). Let me know when you
ride down to The Lowcountry ( Charleston Area ) and we'll meet up and have a :drink: and chew the fat.
