I finally took some pictures of my powder coated windshield docking hardware, windshield, tach, Black Pearl cables and black hydraulic fittings, Chubby 16 inch springer handlebars, Rinehart cross back exhaust, and the Harley sissy bar, luggage rack and back rest on my 09 springer. I trimmed the windshield to get it to fit between the apes. It worked well. The alternative to cutting the windshield is to have no windshield at all or having your handlebars on your chest. The docking hardware and a spare winsdhield can come in handy on this bike at times, especially high speed riding.

I had to put the 08 springer riser stud bolts on this bike to give the tach the additional 1.5 inches of clearance it needs from the spring bridge. Getting the extra height on the handlebars with the new riser studs was a nice benefit, too. I was able to get the Rineharts on with minimal modification and they work and sound great. I received the wrong tach clamp, it is for 1 inch bars, so I need to fix that.

This is a fun, powerful bike to ride.

absolutely wicked! love the black hardware an cables. the black tips on the pipes are a sweet touch as well. beautiful job on trimming the windshield! never seen anything like it. looks radical! mod on!

As a geezerglider myself, I've never been much for the springers, but I tell you what Bro, that is one Suhwheeeeeeeeet looking ride there.  Perfect accessorizing and use of the black parts.  Very ingenious on the windshield too.   Nice job!!   :2vrolijk_21:

Bike's great but ...the windshield looks kinda odd on this setup IMHO ...just me though ...
