Catalytic Converters
« on: October 26, 2008, 10:25:49 PM »

My 09 SEUC manual says that international and California models have cat converters  but it appears all 09 SEUCs have these damn things.  So what's fact and what's fiction?  Do all CVO Ultras have cats or just those mentioned in the manual?

Any thoughts?

I asked the same question.
It appears that all 09's have a CC.
And if they don't, , , , I'm pissed because mine does!
But that will end next week when the pipes show!

The text in the manual probably refers to the '96 engines. H-D was never good in catching all the differences when publishing the manuals. And yes, it seems that all '110's have cats.

All California, International, and TC110 bikes have cats, 49 state TC96 bikes do not.

What is that matrixed ceramic stuff inside the stock mufflers of my 06?  I can see it from the inlet side.  I thought it was catalyst.
