Hello from Iraq
« on: October 27, 2008, 05:11:05 PM »

Hello from Iraq,

I just order a 09 Springer, and I cannot wait to take delivery in Jan 09 when I'm on mid-tour leave. I was hoping I could get some advance on proper break-in.

I would suggest that you break it in like the owners manuel suggest.  May not be the best way, but as long as you do what Harley says - the dealer can't claim you did something wrong if a warranty issue comes up.

Welcome to the site!!! Do what MOCO says as far as break-in. Drain the oil and then ride it like you stole it.

Keep you head down and watch your back..................locals there have different perspectives on life.
