Not too many years ago I was bike poor and car poor. I had for just the wife and I 10 "things" we had to insure.
Let me see, I had two Isetta 300's, one BMW Isetta 600 Limo, a Lambretta 150, a Vespa 100 Sport, two 1965 Cushman Silver Eagles (1 manual kick and 1 electric for the wife), a 1977 GL1000 Gold Wing, a 1975 XLCH 1000, a 1977 Bonneville 750 twin T-140, a 1941 Mercury convertible and a '33 Dodge sedan I was building for a streetrod. I think one of those were gone from the rest during that timeline. I wanted to build a new streetrod and my wife told me to sell everything and build what I wanted, so I did. That was when I lived in Michigan. I wish now I hadn't have sold the Willys coupe, but I got a stupid hair up my butt and it went bye bye.
So that led me to the big move to the St. Louis area. When I moved I had a '55 Nomad gasser in the works. I just sold it this spring to help finance the new '08 SERK.
Right now I have the '08 SERK Annie as well as one other runner and a builder to be finished this winter.
This was the day I drove the new baby home from Doc's HD the weekend before Thanksgiving last November.

This is my other driver right now, a '76 FLH stock bore/stroke 74".

These are NOT the best pictures, but you'll get the idea. I've got a couple fenders I'm working with now from a swapmeet and I'm still torn on the style of gas tank to make. I want to end up with at least 3.5 gallons and I have to have 1 gallon in the tank area for oil. I want to maintain a bare bones look on the frame so oil in the tank seemed like a good idea. I'll let you all know after I pull my hair trying to make it work.
So those three are my current babies. I love the new SERK and the old FLH still gets lots of look when I ride it. Lots of non HD people think it's a new bike and I have to tell them it's 32 years old.
As some of you know, I'm a bit wordy on my posts. So I either write nothing or too much. Once the fingers get moving I can't shut them up.
