I viewed all the pics on V&H site.  Looks pretty good to me.  I just put Cobra billet 4" slip ons on my '09 SERG with a SRT and new custom map.  Gained 6 HP and 8 TQ over the 110 stock.  These V&H would get rid of the CAT and surely make more power. The Cobra's look a lot better than the stock mufflers!  Also, the stock heat shields fit the Cobra's too.

Can't get past the "X" patch in the middle of the system.   Much better options...IMHO

The true beauty in 2-1 is that the left bag stays cool and thus keeping you beverage's of choice on ice in the cooler a lot longert than with stock exhaust...Sometimes function defines the beauty...I'm just saying... :P

I traded my Fat Cat 2:1 for Supper Trap 2:1... My dealer had a customer that wanted the Fat Cat and they had the Supper Trap in stock. The Fat Cat is nice, but a bit to loud for me.. The Supper Trap is quite, so far anyway.. We are still running on a base map.. If i can get the ignition woke up again.  :-[

looks like that V&H also posted their Dresser Duals to their site.

Still waiting for my O/B SERG.  The Dresers look nice, but is the cost justified when you can just drill out the cat for about $20.  :-\

Wow, those dual look real nice, much better than the 2-1-2.  They do look like true duals, and if they do not have the power chamber you would loose some low end torque.  I wish the would include the hidden power chamber they use in the big shot longs and such...

Those are nice,, but the more i look at these,, why not go with a 2:1 ... Much better performance and tunability.

For you 09 owners.  List is $519.95 plus your favorite mufflers.

I'm no mechanic but New Header Pipes from V&H:  $519.95  Monster Ovals $500 plus...... Install  $$$

On the other hand:  Fullsac cores:  $109 (w/ CVO discount).  McGills core bit:  $26.  Hanging out with a buddy, drilling out the cat, grinding out the stock cores and installing Fullsacs:  Priceless!! (Less cost of a couple of beers).   Result:  Great sound (not too loud but very deep sound), more responsive and cooler engine.  Seems like the best bet, esp. in locations where they enforce the exhaust regs.  The Stock head pipes and mufflers are beautiful.  Most aftermarket pipes are smaller and don't look right....

Add the heavy breather:  Dynojet Final numbers:  89.07 hp and 109.22 torque.

I'm with you.  At this point I would be hard pressed to do anything other than drilling out the cat and installing the 2" Fullsacs.  Supposed Decenber delivery.   :pineapple: :pepper:

One thing I have found on my '09 already, with only 150 miles on it, is that the location of the rear pipe is now in a position to melt the heel of your boot or any other meltable apparel you happen to be wearing.  I was pretty upset to see that I had boot marks on my pipe already...luckily it cleaned off.  I wear ski pants to ride in the cold weather, and I have a bad feeling that I am going to be in for a problem that I never went through before.  On my RK, I had a kit that moved my floorboards outward about 1" on each side.  I think that would help, and make for a more comfortable ride, however I don't know if they make the kit for the CVO floorboard mounting (chrome) or for '09's in general.  If anyone is aware of a kit to move the boards outward, I would appreciate a message.

If anyone wants to design some, they were just a bushing formed to the same outer shape as the floorboard mounts, which mounted between the mount and the frame, and then they came with longer bolts.  The fact that I don't remember where I got them doesn't help much either.
