I got curious, and the eBay link still works. I went on to look at the other offers from the seller, JSE Parts, and found many parts at extremely low prices. Has anyone besides Jacques, who seem to be happy, ordered from them?

Ride safely,
Louis

I have...  Nice pieces at quite a low cost.  Quick delivery...no complaints at all!

Not only is the ebay listing a lot cheaper it is more complete.  The Harley branded package for the tubes doesn't include the upper tube.  You have to use that over again.  So your take offs aren't a complete set.

No report before the end of February !  :(

In October 2008, I've planned with my dealer for the recall and other work in January 2009.

Last Thursday, he let me know that the recall parts are not arrived !

Bad news for the beginning of this year !

They're not having much better luck getting recall parts for the guys here either Jacques! Hang in there! How ya doin man? Happy New Year to ya! :drink: :2vrolijk_21: :huepfenjump3:

Youze guys got me sucked into the lifter block thing now. But no sense in getting the PRT's if they don't play well with the Axtell Cylinders. I asked that EBay guy if he'll sell the Lifter Block Kit separately. I'll let youze know! ;)

Today, I pick up my bike to the dealer after the recall's work.

Bad news, the Cam Billet Push Rod and Lifter Block Kit are not moutable on the 110 ci.
Not enough room for billet pushrod and lifter bloc with the cylinders !

My dealer says me that it was necessary to grind the cylinders and he had not made.

I've sent a mail to the seller.

Jacques,

The lifter blocks will fit fine.  The "outside" tube will fit in each cylinder will fit fine.  The "inside" tube needs to have clearance machined (machine the tube itself) to provide the necessary clearance with the cylinder.  There is plenty of material to machine clearance without worry of breaking thru the tube wall.  You can either machine clearance on a small mill or, more crudely, use a bench grinder...

I have done this, and TwolaneRider has done with success (and maybe others..).

Jacques, sorry to read of the problem.  Scott Dunbar and I both had what may be a similar issue with those tubes using them with Axtell cylinders.  Axtell cylinders are larger than OE.

At least with the Axtell cylinders these tubes would work.  They just had to be clearanced some on a bench grinder.

I also have the set with the rocker covers. I have not mounted them as of yet. When I change the heads, cams  and TB on the bike I am going to do the install then. Glad you guys have posted about the clearance problem.
