just installed monster ovals on 09 se ultra and rode around the block when i got home the right exaust was smoking pretty good .. called vance and hines they said it was normal for the first few rides. anyone else have this problem.

Yup,, normal. Give it a little time to burn off the residual oils and solvents they used during manufacturing. My Supper Trap is doing the same thing

Mine didn't smoke, but they sure smelled bad for the first couple of rides. The smell went away after about 70 miles.

Glad to read this is normal. I just put Fullsac cores in my 09 SERG and when I took it for the first ride I saw blue smoke. It didn't last long but it did freak me out at first. Guess it must be normal for most exhaust mods

yes smoke went away after 30 miles or so just freaks you out at first if you didnt know about it. Dealer told me they run all thier bikes about 15 minutes to get rid of smoke thats why i guess ive never seen it.
