Rumor Mill

Read an article last night in Chopper mag titled Rumor Mill, Harley developed and is currently road testing a Twin Cam Engine with liquid cooled heads. The engine is no different then the water cooled heads, thereby Harley can reduce engine temps and meet EPA. Wonder if we'll see this in 2010???

Doesn't surprise me.... HD has to do something to meet the EPA requirements.  This will mean that when the water-cooled head motor comes out, we will need to wait about three years for R&D to figure out how to stop all the water leaks.

That's why my name is the first on the list for a 110th Anniversary 2013 W/C Screaming Eagle.
Out in 2010, bugs gone by the 110th celebration.
It follows the pattern, 2001 SERG, 2005 SEEG, 2009 SEUC, 2013SE??.

Their is a HD Nova Project Bike in the Trev Deeley HD Museum in Vancouver BC. Trev Deeley was one of the dealers invited to work on this project.

We have been running water cooled heads on our Harley's here in Washington for ever. From September to July works real well no over heating just mud.
