Most of us have suffered from OCD. Share with us your worst case of Stupid Chrome Disorder. Tell us what was the most expensive thing you bought, got it home, and said "what was I thinking" or WTF.
For me it was a pair of very loud mufflers and a gas tank bra. Both still setting on the shelf.

HID headlight.  Lots of money for not that much more light - should have upgraded the existing bulbs.

A few years back i purchased the chrome tail piece for the King Tour Pak.. Freaking FUGLY,,,,  I gave it to a acquittance and he stuck it on his 03 Ultra,, still freaking FUGLY

My response is similar to AJ's, only different.  I am in too way much denial to think about anything major misspent on the bikes.




Ok...small stuff......... and this is difficult....... stupid flashing LED valve stem caps that flashed when the wheels turned.  One would work, then the other, but rarely both.  Took them off the bike.

Pshaw!  When I was 7 or 8 I probably had Mickey Mantle & Willie Mays baseball cards flapping happily to shreds in my spokes of my spiffy 3 speed Sears bike.  And now you remind me of what those would be worth today.   :'(


As to motorcycle wheel spokes - don't like 'em.  I get rid of them & replace with cast wheels ASAP.   :2vrolijk_21:

Brad,

You had problems with the Rev Perf cylinders or is it that they just didn't do much for you?
