The little icon of a gas pump should light up on the speedo when you get low on fuel too.

.

Sad thing is that they put the icon right behind the speedo needle and can be hard to see while riding.   No problem sitting still.

Great!  Business as usual in the HD Engineering Department.  Wonder if they have an HFE team anyway?   :nixweiss:  With the archaic ergonomics and the situation you describe, Bob, I think not.   :-\

I wonder if they've ever considered the Design Eye Point.

Henry, if the MOCO actually asked us our views and really listened, they would have a much better product.  As it is now, we just have to do what Hubbard stated and fix them ourselves to make them right.

Bingo.  Spot-on, Bob, however, even without considering our views as end-item consumers, any HFE worth his salt wouldn't dare let these design flaws pass unchecked or at least unchallenged and undocumented despite a management decision to press forward without action.......which is what makes me speculate that the MOCO does not have an HFE department.  Probably don't even know, much less care, that in this day and age.........they need it.   :2vrolijk_21:
