Just got the '09 SE Ultra a few days ago.  Does the recall apply to my bike, or did they take care of the problem before it got to me?

there are still some engine mods you can do to increase the reliability and fun of you new ride... i see from your pic that we share another passion: fine sporting cars...I have a mazda rx8 aka poor man's bmw!

I'm working on clearing out the garage of all my Road King parts right now...and I have a ton of them.  I'm putting together a post for the Road King forum.  Once I get my garage back in order, I will start worrying about what I am going to do with this new bike.  Yes, I like sports cars, but I have found that given a choice between the bike and the car, the bike always wins.  The bike has also played havoc with my golf game.  My BMW is 5 years old now and I have managed to only put 20,000 miles on it.  My 1 year old Road King, which I just traded had 14,000 miles.  I think it's time to get rid of the BMW.  Let me know if you have anyone in mind that would like to buy it.  I'll let it go reasonably.

Just go to hd.com -> Owners -> Service Check-Up. Enter VIN # and mileage, and you will see what needs to be done. To my knowledge the '09's are good without the campaign.

And here is my usual question: Any '09 owners out there with a leaking engine or similar issues?
