Not sure if it pulls more. I am hoping someone develops a K&N style filter element for it.

Anyone seen / have an after market heavy breather on their SERG. I shopping around now and I'd like to know what everyone likes.

Not to sure it would look to good with that throttle motor plate sticking out in the open, even chromed it would look bad IMO.  Doc

I have the heavy breather but have not installed it at this time due that ugly plate on the back. I have sent the plate off for chroming, so this should help with the looks a little.

You will need the correct breather bolts:

This is a real sharp set-up. I wish Mo Co made them for the 2000 and 2001 SERG. The M&M fuel injection set-up is Harley's bastard child.

Hi KB,  I have a Yellow SERG out here in CA.  The SERG a/c is a high flow with about the same capacity as other, usually round HD high flows.  See HD #29260-08 for example.  There are a few guys who have gone with the "heavy breather"  HD # 29253-08.  I did and it helps.  Have not seen an aftermarket specific for it but there should be some out there.  Kuryakyn has the "hypercharger" but I'm not sure you'd want that on a CVO bike.   They also have a "Corsair"  K #9864.  That might be OK but I think the HD heavy breather looks better.  The advantage of the heavy breather is that is incorporates a plenum which directs the air flow.  It also requires a recalibration of the ECM and if you're going to do that, the SERT (or similar upgrade) seems to be the way to go.  Pic below is of the stock a/c (which is now on my buddy's SEEG.)

Greg, Thanks for the info. I think that the stock AC on the 09 SERG is about as cool as it comes. I'm going to persue buying to put on my SERK. KB

Check the SERG threads for the guys who have gone with the heavy breather.  Jim Kerr sold his a/c on e bay.  There must be a couple out there for sale....  Good luck!

Hard to beat the looks of the stock a/c. Has any one come up with hard dyno numbers that nail down the improvement parameters and how much more power at what RPM? If you only benefit above 5000 rpm, is it worth it.

The SE Heavy Breather added 3-4 HP over the stock air cleaner on the SERG.
