Ok, to get this thread back on topic.... below is a picture of where the cig lighter plug will be...

In the picture above there is a power plug inserted for an accessory, but you should see a silver knob (some call it the "mystery button) with a rubber boot next to inner fairing on your bike.

I was going to say, , , , ,
That can't be dOO'd bike, , , he never rides it, , , , or at least not far enough to need a GPS.
Just sayin.....

But it is a pretty representation of a bike used for travel!

Before dOOd answers that question, let me ask this.

Could it be possible that dOOd is actually a computer generated figment of Neals vivid imagination?
Really, the dOOd i met in Maggie Valley could been hired by Neal from a local temp. service to play a CVO rider.
Just a thought?

The cig lighters are not "live" when the bike is off, therefore you cannot charge the battery through it......unless you leave the bike on or in acc position which kind of defeats the charge......

I am just an ole country boy and I know nothing about mechancial systems compared to some. BUT, even if the cigarette lighter was powered with the ignition off, wouldn't it take as much energy to power the charger as the charge you'd get out of it? Otherwise, we'd have perpetual motion, which doesn't exist.  nixweiss

I'm with Hogbreath on this one.  He's the one who found my failed lighter in the first place.   ;D

Wonder if he's ever deleted any of his own post?
If yes, he could be the "King of Timeout" since there's that little mod gig that he's involved in!

 :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Well.......if he holds himself to the same rules to which he holds us.........I'd have to believe he has.
