What comes w/ a new SERG

Getting ready to pick up the new bike. Should be coming in this week. What comes with the new SERG? From what I have read it comes with a owners manual and gold key. How about a tool kit? I have only purchased 1 new bike and it was a 06 SG. It came with a tool kit and owner manual. That was it.

Air cleaner rain cover, inside bike cover, tool kit, owner's manual are included.

Go to the official H-D website and you'll find a complete listing. My advice would be to print out everything you find on your model and have the paperwork with you to use as a checklist when you pick up the new bike in case your dealer tries to pull some of the stuff we've seen our members report happens at some dealerships.

I agree with Spiderman, have a list and know what you should get. I was the first one to pick up a SERG at my dealership. Nobody there knew what was included. I went through the saddlebags with the salesman and he was surprized to see the key, tools and cover (he thought it was a sleeping bag).

Two key fobs, two barrel keys and one gold key, manual does not have a leather cover. Numerous stickers (air cleaner, saddlebag guards, etc.) to  remove. 4" w/shield w/ rubber gasket. National HOG membership. Technical literature list (pamphlet). Anti-lock brake CD. Passenger backrest.

How did we get on that ? I never said there is a checklist, I said to use what was available on the H-D website to create a checklist. I know I have a funky Maine accent, but this is the written word we're dealing with here. I thought at least my writing was understandable  :nixweiss:

Thanks guys, hate to pick the bike up and not know I'm missing something. I read the list, but didn't see anything about tools or aircleaner cover. I will have to ask when I pick it up.

Dont forget to get the saddlebag inserts(removable bags).  Didnt realize they were there until I went thru all of the goodies!
