Solo Cop Seat

im thinking about a solo seat. does anyone know if the cop seats will fit or are available?

I don't know if it would fit or not, but this is a very interesting topic for a thread to get other's opinions.......I also wonder what the best solo seat would be for a SEEG.....'best' incorporating the values of: looks, comfort, fit to bike, seat height, fore & aft seating position, etc.  Let's hear from others.........maybe someone knows of a good custom seat builder?  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]  spyder

Van, did you talk to Holly about hers?  Tony can tell you if they're available (HD of Sacramento sets up all the CHP bikes) when he comes back on here.

At it already, that did'nt take long. Holly had a bracket made for hers since it was a old spring model. I looked at ebay and the new air models are there. Bet one of those bids is yours.
I'll let you blaze the trail then do the same to mine. really liked the way hers looked. Nice to have met you on that great ride.

I ran a cop seat on my Road King for a while, most comfortable seat ever, bar none. I even had it recovered, with black snaps, to match the RK upholstery. Big on comfort, rather low on style. I put the accumulator in the left saddlebag, drilled a small hole for the air line. If you are looking at an Iron Butt, or just multiple long days in the saddle, it can't be beat. They are almost always on ebay, and most dealers have them in their takeoff piles.

I ran a cop seat on my SE Roadglide for two years. It's the most comfortable seat Harley makes.
