A Marine and his Mini!

Nancy's son is back from Iraq for a few months.
He is stationed at Cherry Point Marine Base which is about 325 miles from Charlotte.
We had given Robert a 90 Old Cutlass as his first car.
Just a beater but a very dependable one.
He is now a Vet and a changed young man.
So the Olds had to go replaced by a fun car with a soul.
He loves it and as I type, on his way back to Cherry Point NC!

Hey Chip, great choice for a fun car.

I've had three of them and each one has been a blast to drive especially the John Cooper Special edition I had last spring.  Had to let it go, I was enroute to tickets for sure.

Great to see the young man is back for awhile.

Thank him for his service - I was stationed at Cherry Point after Viet Nam in '69. Is Havelock still the party town it was back then?? LOL
