You got that right Henry.  ;)  It was a chilly ride home, ambient air temp was 40 degrees...but I put the full face on, cranked up the heated grips and the heated seat and had a very pleasant 45 mile ride from the dealership to the house.  I love that bike!!  I'm planning on keeping this one for along time.   :2vrolijk_21:

ROGER THAT!  I know exactly what you mean...............and when she breaks, I'll fix her...........and when she falls apart..........I'll rebuild her.  She is mine......and I love her.  She's a keeper!   :2vrolijk_21:

Glad you got your kiddo back home.  Had to be great riding home.  I can't wait.  It's be about 62 miles for me, and I don't care how cold it is..........as long as it isn't snowing or icing, I'm gonna ride her home.   :2vrolijk_21:

Just waiting on the headers now, Charlie.................Hopefully before the middle of December.  I want her home...........but I also want her right, so if it runs longer, then it is what it is.

That's the atitude ya gotta have.  If you're going to get it done, get it done right and let them take their time to do it.  Besides, you have the "King" to get you by until Thumper's ready.  :)  That's the reason I don't get upset if it takes them longer to fix the Jester and get it done right.  I've got the SG to keep my riding fix.  It's not the Jester, but it's a he!! of a good ride too. :)   I was listening to XM channel 46 on the way home, Classic Vinyl, that's a good channel.   :2vrolijk_21:

That is my favorite satellite channel.  Lock it in and rip the knob off!   :2vrolijk_21:   :huepfenlol2: :huepfenjump3:  Like you, I'm really happy and fortunate to have two touring machines.  Certainly takes the edge off the riding jones when one or the other is in the shop............but as you know, Charlie.........nothing does it like the main squeeze!   :2vrolijk_21:  She'll come home soon, and be better than she ever was.  Two Baggers!  Woulda thunk it?   :2vrolijk_21:

I'll take two baggers anyday.   ;)  I think I'm going to have to eventually put the XM module on the SG though.  :2vrolijk_21:

I thought you would have done that already, Charlie.  Now that they're merged, that's a must.   :2vrolijk_21:

I'd imagine you could find one or three on eBay relatively inexpensive nowadays.  Just thinkin' outloud, Charlie.

Well.......maybe not.  $475.00, and you still gotta buy some additional funky wiring harness and possibly an antenna base if you're gonna mount it where the MOCO wants you to mount it.  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Motorcycle-Parts-Accessories__Harley-Davidson-Advanced-Audio-XM-Satellite-Radio-Kit_W0QQitemZ200176638297QQadiZ2863QQadnZMotorcycleQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotorcycles_Parts_Accessories?_trksid=p4506.m20.l1116#ht_568wt_0

I figured that was a dealer selling it...it was way too high of a price to not be.  Thanks for the heads up Henry.  :2vrolijk_21:

Hey Charlie........have you considered looking at/calling one of the bike graveyards?  Perhaps they may have an XM unit from a wreck.  Worth a shot and probably at a nice price too.

Never thought of that Henry.  I'll have to look into that.  Thanks.   :2vrolijk_21:
