Never thought of that Henry.  I'll have to look into that.  Thanks.   :2vrolijk_21:

Yessir.  I'm thinking of looking to one of those places for a NAV unit............not that I need it, but would just like to have it so I can gain full functionality of the HK setup...............but there ain't no way I'm gonna pay $800 for the thing.

Got that right Henry.  If it hadn't of come with my Jester, I never would have bought it.  I bought a $250 Magellan that does 100% more and better than the HD unit. Unfortunately, it's not for motorcycle use.  I have a Road Tech Quest on the Street Glide and it works great, but doesn't have enough memory in it to store more than about 4 or 5 states worth of data.  I love GPS.

ED ZACHARY!  But, if I can find it reasonably priced in a boneyard.......I'll consider it, if for no other reason than to complete the package.   :2vrolijk_21:

Well as for the recall, I talked to our local dealer and was informed that the "KIT" that Harley is providing has "stock" gaskets not Screamin' Eagle, the machanic said if the exisiting gaskets are good they are taking them off and keeping them to use on other bikes they are doing upgrades on, (not that I would have our dealer here in Alaska do anywork on my bike ever again) but just knowing that Harley is getting cheap on their most expensive bike they produce doesn't make me a happy guy.  At this point I am not having any oil leak, have at least 5 more months of winter to have a serious chat with Harley Corperate before deciding on what to do about the upgrade.   >:(

Sorry for your engine woes there, Dude, but that is a fricken' awesome garage you have.  Can Renea and I come live you and bring the bikes with us?  I have my own tools and Handy Lift.  Won't be any trouble.  You'll never know we're there.   :huepfenlol2: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenjump3: :huepfenlol2:
