Searching for Woodstock images, the one that we had scanned from a very pricey original Life magazine is not as good, of course, but there was the image of my husband, his younger brother and his father.

Thanks Duane, I love that you provided this for us.

Yepper! It looks like I am preparing something... food like... guess it was an early sign.
I ordered two prints of this, one for us and one for my brother. We have always had a small copy of this from the magazine, but the print itself is 12 x 18, so it should be quite the picture, a lot of detail we haven't really seen before.  :pumpkin:

What a great stroke of luck!  I see Dad was into Schlitz.  Who wasn't back then!

Drinkin Schlitz and smoking Kools!   :nixweiss:
OK, Parents got caught up in the conter-culture revolution (I guess) and while still in the Air Force, we went with a bunch of friends from Pearl Alley (gotta be from Columbus - OSU) to the festival. We went for the whole thing, set up a tent right away and slept under the bus instead. Note in the tent after it was all over said "Thanks." Stories from Woodstock told in person, way too many to get into... Also, not our busses, they belonged to the Hog Farmers/Pranksters/Ken Kesey... But after the fest, we went back to Columbus and built two busses and traveled around on them (plus another my father & uncle built later) all around the US for nearly two years, invading pop festivals and communities in a local near you! No money, lots of everything but food. It was a real bit@# being 9 years old, just couldn't partake of everything that everyone else was in to. Really had to wait for puberty to kick in! Anyway, a few communes later and here we are! BTW, my mother is still there (counter-culture) but that's another (longer) story. Father passed in 96, he had WAAAYYYY too much fun!  :pumpkin:
