Howdy Greg
Some things about me. Come from a family line of bikers. Grandpa had a 1916 HD (found the pic after my Dad passed) Dad had 2 HD flatties & 2 pans, brother has a 54 pan, a 1988 softie and a 08 FLHTI, I have a 75 sporty, 01 Dyna and 07 Road Glide.
Been mc licensed since I was 16 thats 38 yrs. You do the math hahahaha.
Heavy into bikers rights. ABATE member for 18 yrs, chapter president 14 yrs, state board member 10 yrs, state pres 4 yrs.
Each yr do a month long mc camping trip ending at MRF Meeting of the Minds somewhere in the midwest. It moves annually.
In 04 I rode all 48 states to get to the MOTM held in Green Bay Wisconsin that yr. This year stopped at Bonneville Salt Flats for speed week on my way to MOTM in Denver.
Been totaled 3 times down a few more. Learned drinking and riding ain't good. Learned having the right insurance is good.
Think my bike is good for ME just the way it is (well will be after I get the HID lights in). All I done to it is put a thunderheader exhaust on it. I on my 5th rear tire in a year & 2 months. Has 32000+ miles since end of August '07.
I use road maps cause I am techno challanged and it gives me something to do in camp at night.
Love the backroads. Love riding 5 miles to Pennsylvania so I can ditch my lid and spend a day in freedom. Found that every state has some beautiful scenery. Found that there many friendly ladies at bike rallies. Do the Am-Jam in Cobleskill with brother as a tradition of over 15 yrs. Have been attending the State Line Rally in Keosaugua, Iowa for last 5 yrs.
Probably coulda just said I love motorcycling. In honesty, I think it is my therapy and I need it cause I ain't right, hahaha.
So there a brief history, anything else ya wanna know just ask.
