I am really surprised to learn the the typical all-american company Harley-Davidson is sourcing from CITGO.

The members on the site I got this from felt the same way about the CITCO. It hit me too when I read it also. I was going to wait and see who caught it first here.

I always try my best to buy from one of these gas stations       http://www.urc.com/

#1 Because the claim is that ALL their oil is produced in North America (guess it provides me a false sense of security)

#2 Because using their card to purchase their fuel provides a 5 cent per gallon discount!!  :2vrolijk_21:

#3 Here locally, it's usually the least expensive fuel to begin with (prior to the discount)  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Now, I do not personally endorse these, but I pass by CITGO at all times, even when low on fuel.

I once talked to this hispanic that was here illegally and he told me he was visiting Chavez down in Venezuela, and had dinner with Chavez he told him that HD gives him a new CVO every year. He also told him that the guys and gals up in the US don't get the same bike he gets. He said HD fixes all the problems with it before giving it to him. He said they are able to do this because they charge 75% more than they are worth, plus by building problems into the bike they are able to keep the CVO's parked in their shop for at a minimum 2-3 weeks, usually longer fixing them all the while collecting interest from loans on the bikes that is provided to HD by Chavez. Chavez also told him he does not use the HD lubricants in his bike. He said he would not think about putting that stuff in his bike because it was made from that sludge crap they sell the US for oil.

You can quote the "Hispanic" all you like but he will never get Don's pool boy's job as a qualified source of interesting and accurate information dispensed on CVOHarley.com!
Some people can't be replaced!
Good try though!

I forgot to mention that HD was not Harley Davidson it was Hugo Dominguez of Hugo Dominguez Motorcycle Company, a long lost affiliate of Harley Davidson.
