Vance and Hines Monster Ovals
« on: November 22, 2008, 06:14:28 PM »

I believe the Monster Ovals is what I have decided on and now it is just coming to grips with the fact they are almost twice as expensive as the basic slip ons. Does anyone no any place that is either having a sale o=n keeps their prices low to start with. I think these tings are around 750 bucks

Check with Mark at M&M Cycles, his prices are usually really good.  I have purchased things from him in the past and he is a real stand up guy.

Right now Mark is giving extra discounts until Dec13th.. (Christmas Sale).   Makes most everything 20% off or better.

$.02:  Chanman,  Monster Ovals are both expensive and very heavy.....  They do look good but what's the benifit other than you like the look?  Just curious.

It just the look, however it is big bucks I have had the Vance and Hines Basic slip ons on my 04 Road King and the 06 Screaming Eagle and like them on both bikes. They were much louder on the 103 engine than the 95 build that is on the Road King. I am just struggling spending that much more money on the Monsters, but I am a Vance and Hines guy I guess, everyone has a preferance. Now that I know the Catalitic converter is in the Header pipes I will be looking for some true duals to get rid of it and keep the stock ones in case they start smogging the bikes here in Ca.
